Workshop items will now track the original content creators and prevent anyone from uploading copied items. This can be as easy as downloading your item from the workshop then creating a copy and then Updating the item.

So as of Sword With Sauce has been released from early access. This caused frustration and a lot of extra work to just fix things which then caused even more time loss and things being rushed and a rather unhealthy cycle of development. The other main reason was there became a severe loss of focus for the project and the quality wasn't living up to what I wanted. Moving forward it became clear that in order to accomplish a lot of the things I wanted for SWS like Multiplayer, linear missions and better enemies/AI then there would need to be a team and a much bigger budget which just wasn't possible unfortunately. Apologies to everyone who supported the project during its alpha and were excited to see it be taken further but due to a number of reasons I have decided to retire the project.Īs a lot of you know there is no "team" behind Sword With Sauce, It's just me, Diatomic Muffin.
